Welcome to our Second Grade home page! Hi! My name is Laura Scott, and I teach second grade at McKinley-Thatcher. I have been teaching in the Denver Public Schools for many years. I have taught first, second, and third grades, as well as Special Education. However, my heart is with the second grade. Kids at this age are so eager to learn, and are beginning to find their voices in reading, writing, and the world around them. I love being a part of that!
